We can pack everything in your home, but we always respect your privacy and preferences. Many clients prefer to pack highly personal items like important documents, jewelry, medications, and sentimental keepsakes themselves. We'll work with you during our initial consultation to identify which items you'd like to handle personally and which items you'd like us to pack. Everything else – from your everyday belongings to fragile items like dishes and artwork – we'll pack professionally using the appropriate materials and techniques for each item type.
What if something gets damaged during packing?
We take every precaution to prevent damage, using premium packing materials and proven techniques developed through years of experience. However, we understand accidents can happen, which is why we carry full liability insurance. We also document the condition of valuable items with photographs before packing and use specialized packing methods for fragile and high-value items. If any damage occurs due to our packing, we'll work with you and our insurance to resolve the issue promptly and fairly.
Do I have to be there while you work?
You don't need to be present for the entire packing process, but we do recommend being available for key moments. We'll want you there at the beginning to go over any special instructions and preferences, and periodically throughout to answer questions about specific items or placement preferences. Many clients choose to run errands or handle other moving tasks while we work, then check in with us throughout the day. We'll always respect your schedule and work around your availability.
